We recognize the pressing need to address the challenges posed by post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and related issues faced by these brave individuals who have dedicated themselves to the service of others.

Our wellness program is designed to serve those who have served us selflessly. The participants will gain an understanding of how traumatic experiences change their thought processes. They will are given the tools and opportunities to rewire these thought processes to successfully navigate civilian life.

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP)

Equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) focuses on those with mental or substance use disorders, cognitive issues, and other disorders. While still a form of “talk” therapy, EAP allows clients to use multiple senses while identifying and processing emotional issues. The outdoor environment and use of animals lend a unique, positive dimension to the experience.

Yoga Wellness

Our yoga and meditation classes are designed to meet you where you are physically and emotionally. We will give you tools to manage stress and anxiety and help increase sleep and restfulness.

Yoga improves strength, balance and flexibility. Yoga can help back pain, arthritis symptoms and heart health. Physical flexibility is not required to practice yoga.

A yoga instructor can work with you to put together individualized plans that work together with your medical and surgical therapies.

Meditation improves mental wellness, reduces inflammation, and decreases blood pressure. It may help control food cravings and curb addictions. Although meditation is simple it is not easy. Our instructors will guide you through meditations.

Yoga and meditation together allow you to practice resilience. When you build resilience, you are able to withstand and recover more quickly from difficult conditions. This is why we have incorporated yoga and meditation into our program.
